Movie Description
Jenny is a cop who has made many motorists walk in a straight line to test their sobriety, but the line she herself is now gently tiptoeing requires strength that can't be taught at the police academy. Deftly played by Jennifer Beals, Jenny's fragile heart is suddenly vibrant and full of life when an ex-con seduces her and the two fall passionately in love. The relationship, already undergoing a difficult moral test, becomes more complicated when her lover uses his new found freedom to seek to settle the score that put him away for so long. Togetherness becomes the couple's only sanctuary as they flee from both sides of the law. Jenny, torn between the white flames of her desire and the blue uniform that she proudly wears when not in bed with her ex-con lover, finds that her bulletproof vest will not shield her heart.
