Movie Description
Actor/Director Dennis Hopper demonstrates a range of creative talents in this double pack. In this directorial effort, OUT OF THE BLUE lays out the consequences of substance abuse. Punk teenager Cebe Barnes (Linda Manz) wanders the streets of Vancouver harboring a serious attitude problem. She eventually gets picked up by the police and is questioned by the kindly Dr. Brean (Raymond Burr). Her alcoholic father, Don (Hopper), has just been released from prison after serving a five years for killing some children when his semi crashed into a school bus. Her waitress mother, Kathy (Sharon Farrell), plays a junkie who is sleeping with both her boss and Don's best friend, Charlie (Don Gordon). The girl hopes that her parents' reunion will bring some kind of order to all of their lives. INSIDE MAN is a vastly different type of film where international politics go dangerously awry. Suspicions are on alert when the disappearance of a high-tech laser device used in nuclear submarines is discovered. The situation escalates between two superpowers in neutral Sweden. An investigator (Dennis Hopper) must find the laser and the culprit. Based on an actual terrifying event.
