Synopsis
Cutting down on cab fares, Candace Bushnell--author of the wildly popular books SEX IN THE CITY and LIPSTICK JUNGLE--arranges accommodations for all her characters in the same building this time because, according to one of the glamorously wealthy residents of the eponymous residence, "[E]ven in Los Angeles, everyone knew the value of a pied-à-terre in Manhattan." The well-heeled artists (and one banker) well-connected enough to secure a spot at One Fifth Avenue have many of the same preoccupations as Bushnell’s earlier characters--sex and success. Lucky for Carrie Bradshaw fans, Bushnell’s style, wit, high society insider info, and flair for accessorizing haven’t changed either.
