Movie Description George Lazenby takes over Sean Connery's iconic role and delivers a darker Bond., In this stand-out 007 adventure, Bond again faces off with Ernst Stavro Blofield (his formidable enemy from YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, played here by Telly Savalas rather than Donald Pleasance). This time, the super spy is infiltrating Blofield's installation high in the Swiss Alps. The Austalian-born George Lazenby briefly but amply fills Connery's shoes as he finds himself kilted and surrounded by a gorgeous and sex-starved gaggle of women on retreat. Diana Rigg (THE AVENGERS) plays James Bond's love interest and becomes his only wife in the history of the series. Although Lazenby is not one of the more famous Bond actors, ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE remains appreciated for its relatively gritty and angst-ridden tone. In fact, many true connoisseurs consider it to be the best film in the series.
Synopsis The sixth of the James Bond spy series, and the only one starring Australian star George Lazenby, has 007 once more facing down one of his archest of enemies, Blofeld, whose newest idea for the world's destruction is via germ warfare.
