Movie Description
Matt is a nineteen-year-old aspiring artist from Ohio who has just moved to Los Angeles in the spring of 1992, before the riots associated with the Rodney King beating. Matt meets Evelyn, a working-class woman in her late thirties trying to support her family. The two begin to spend time in the laundromat every week and develop a unique relationship that reaches beyond race. But the spectre of the riots is always on the horizon, and their friendship may not survive the turbulence.
