About this Movie
Movie Description
This film presents exclusive footage of the sunken luxury liner the RMS Titanic, beginning with her actual construction and launch and continuing through a chronicle of her ill-fated voyage around the tip of England, destination: America. Dr. Robert Ballard documents his search and discovery of the ship with the aid of a specially designed robotic camera that displays dramatic pictures of the Titanic's final hours.

Industry Reviews
"...[The film] does a good job of alternating archival footage of the ship's construction with videotape taken from Robert Ballard's first-time discovery and ultimate exploration of the sunken liner in 1985..."
USA Today - Mike Clark (01/14/2000)
