Movie Description
MURDER BY DESIGN provides a complex plot with a plethora of suspenseful twists. A man suffers the loss of his partner when a serial killer begins preying on young women and hiding their bodies. The insurance company refuses to pay the woman's life insurance policy because her missing body means that her death cannot be proven. This further injury drives the man and a group of friends to stage and videotape a copycat killing that they plan to use to con the insurance company out of a fortune. However, as nothing ever works out as planned, each member of the group has his own agenda, and the backstabbing quickly turns deadly.
