Over three years after her first single was released, Jones returns on a different record label (Motown) with an improved sound. THE OTHER WOMAN establishes Missjones as a soulful singer with a longer musical life expectancy than most R&B vocalists. The album is well balanced with love songs and uptempo jams for both R&B and hip-hop fans. "Baby Maybe" recreates the Mobb Deep song "Back At You" and guest stars none other than Havoc and Prodigy themselves. Jones also delivers jeep-bumping music on cuts such as "You & Me" and "So Amazing," while "Two Way Street" and "Pushing Me Away" show Jones' soft side. Vocally, Missjones best exercises her skills on her cover of the Miki Howard classic "Love Under New Management."
