Movie Description Feature-length pilot to the T.V. police program about two undercover Miami investigators.
Synopsis In the pilot fo the successful mid-1980s crime series,
New York City cop Ricardo Tubbs travels to Miami in search of the notorious drug kingpin, Calderone, who murdered his brother, Raphael. He joins forces with Miami Vice detective Sonny Crockett to bring Calderone down.
Film Notes Pilot for the television series which aired on NBC from September 14, 1984 to July 26, 1989. The pilot was released theatrically in Europe.
Cast also included Michael Santoro (Corky Fowler); Darcy Shean (Donna Wheeler) and Harold Bergman (Judge Rupp).
Shot on location in Miami, Florida and New York City in Technicolor.
