Synopsis
This romantic thriller from the bestselling author of the Stephanie Plum series introduces a new heroine who could be Stephanie's sassy sister-in-crime. Alexandra "Barney" Barnaby, a former mechanic and stock car driver who abandoned both for a more feminine lifestyle, receives a phone call late at night from her impulsive brother, Wild Bill. The phone call is cut off and a worried Barney flies to Bill's apartment in Miami, only to find the place trashed. Bill himself has apparently disappeared with NASCAR driver Sam Hooker's boat and a mysterious woman on a quest for sunken Cuban gold.
