A full-fledged Metal Gear game set after the events of MGS3: Snake Eater, with a unique multiplayer component.
Special Features
A new "White Flag" system for the game's multiplayer modes lets players choose to surrender and live to fight again or battle to the death and risk permanently losing some of their most valuable comrades.
Based on the unique IP address contained in all wireless hot spots, players can locate and download characters unique to that spot.
Capture and recruit characters in any of the game's levels and assign them to different units that will perform different functions, such as healing teammates, gathering intelligence and creating new items. Recruit rare and unique characters with special abilities throughout the game -- each character is rated on a series of more than ten attributes, giving players incredible variety in building the ideal squad and creating different teams that are best suited to different types of combat situations., Infinity Mission -- Players must advance from start to finish through increasingly difficult stages, gathering weapons and recruiting high-level comrades to build up their units.
New Multiplayer Modes -- Includes a Shooting Range to test player's shooting skills in a deathmatch environment and a Training Mode to practice and sharpen their game controls will challenge even the most experienced tactical fighters.

More online maps, including an updated version of the REX Hangar area from the original Metal Gear Solid.
More playable characters from the Metal Gear universe, including Raiden and Snake from Metal Gear Solid 4 to form unique squads of commandos. Incorporating an improved support system, tutorials and improved in-game support helps players of all skill levels jump right into the action, or hone their skills to a razor's edge.
