Album Notes Personnel includes: Maria Muldaur (vocals); John Woodhead (guitar); Joe Sublett (tenor saxophone); Marty Grebb (piano); Bill Payne (piano, organ); James "Hutch" Hutchinson (bass); Tony Braunagel (drums); Ann Peebles, Tracy Nelson (background vocals).
Industry Reviews ...Musically, this album has more to do with today's pop music `standards' than the funkier meters that often flowed underneath Muldaur's previous recordings. Fans of those albums may wish she had taken more risks here; still, Muldaur has one of the most distinctive voices around. Living Blues (01/01/1995)
His might be Muldaur's hardest-rocking album....Her accompanied rendition of the traditional 'Woman's Lament' makes this an essential purchase.
