Full Description:
I was so proud when my son told me he wanted to major in elementary education. His life had a sense of purpose; he had actually chosen a career that fit his personality and would make him an oddity of sorts, albeit as a hot commodity. After a semester of staright F's we had a pep talk. He enrolled again, literally giving it "the old colelge try," although his version of the old college try is at odds with mine. His version calls for dropping out after it's too late to get a refund. I realize this doesn't tell you much about the book, but suffice it to say that it hasn't been used much, and serves as a painful reminder of all of my son's shortcomings. The sooner the book (and son) are gone from my sight, the sooner the healing process can begin. |
