Album Notes Exploiting the overlapping demographics of rap music and basketball, WHO U WIT? exhaustively explores every avenue of similarity between the hoops game, the rap game, and the crack game that phrases like "player" "ballin'' & "havin' game" can support. The variations on the theme include Master P (who also graces the cover in a Charlotte Hornets uniform) and his dirty south remake of Kurtis Blow's "Basketball," Snoop Dogg's "Hoop Dreams" ("Imagine that; Hoop Doggy Dogg."), and Mia X's tribute to the WNBA, "Such A Bad Girl." Musically, WHO U WIT retains the successful No Limit formula of shouted choruses and R&B hooks. R&B legend Curtis Mayfield's "Give Me Your Love" is even re-worked by the Ghetto Commision as "Give Me The Rock." Unlike previous No Limit releases however, KLC's beats occasionally (as on Fiend's "Cold Wid It") demonstrate the creeping influence of drum n' bass on the dirty south's jeep-beat repertoire.
