Synopsis
This wacky contemporary romance is one of the earlier works of Janet Evanovich, best known for her Stephanie Plum mystery series. Twenty-nine-year-old corporate executive Alexandra abandons stressful New York for a primitive cabin and a rundown hardware store in Alaska, where she expects to find tranquility...and a husband. Her next-door neighbor, bush pilot Michael Casey, seems a likely prospect for the latter, but while he's definitely interested in Alex, he's also certain he wants to keep things casual. Can strong-willed Alex convince him differently?
