Synopsis This lighthearted addition to Terry Pratchett's sprawling Discworld series stars Moist von Lipwig, former con-man and present Postmaster General of Ankh-Morpork, in the sequel to GOING POSTAL. Since Moist started running it, the post office has been running exceedingly smoothly -- so smoothly, in fact, that it's kind of boring. So when Lord Vetinari asks Moist if he'd like to make some real money -- at the Royal Mint, that is -- the offer is pretty tempting. Of course, as usual, Moist doesn't really end up having a choice, and it's not long before he finds himself embroiled in some, er, interesting situations. The banking life is certainly exciting, that's for sure, but with new enemies cropping up every minute and a whole lot of gold gone missing, Moist's troubles are just beginning. Snappy plotting, cameo appearances by other Discworld denizens, and the always-amusing physics and philosophies of Terry Pratchett's universe (where else can an "analogy machine" scientifically prove that one never quite has enough money at the end of the week?) make sure that this will be a fun ride for new fans and series veterans alike.
