Synopsis
The authors--both telegenic young film actors--managed in four months to make their way from London across Europe and Asia, then across America to New York, traveling all the way (except for the transatlantic plane flight) by motorbike. Back home, in alternating narratives, they recall their adventure, which included menacing policemen in Eastern Europe, horrific roads in Mongolia and Siberia, and heartbreakingly impoverished children in many places.
