Long Island's From Autumn to Ashes have successfully mixed melodies and raw emotions with explosions of aggression. With the announcement of their indefinite hiatus, LIVE AT LOONEY TUNES represents a victory lap for a band that feels it's accomplished all it set out to do. These eleven tracks, recorded live at a benefit performance in their hometown record store, are a solid sampling from their full-length CDs, crisply enough played and recorded to the point where they could be mistaken for album tracks. Furious outbursts such as "Cherry Kiss" and "Deth Kult Social Club" never sounded so urgent.
