Movie Description With the help of her dance partner, a war widow fights a legal battle and gains custody of her child. Contains Astaire's celebrated "Piano Dance" routine.
Synopsis Song and dance team Kitty McNeil and Donald Elwood go their separate ways after the war, pursuing careers outside of show business. They meet up again five years later, after Kitty has been widowed and left with a small son. Together again, Kitty and Donald give into their first love, entertaining -- and their love for each other. But the little boy's wealthy grandmother, determined to give her grandson a more stable life, tries everything in her power to take him away from Kitty.
