Synopsis
Film adaptation of Victor Hugo's classic novel, set in France during the 18th Century. Jean Valjean is a petty felon, trying to start a new life and rid himself of his criminal past. Interfering however, is Javert, a cop who relentlessly pursues him, intending to send him to prison.
