Movie Description
A particularly difficult day leads Lena (Marlene Forti) to end her fledgling acting career. Amidst a flurry of bad reviews, an emotional argument with her boyfriend, and a string of racially stereotypical brushes with typecasting, she decides she has had enough. Her decision to retire from acting, however, is immediately challenged when she is offered a major role in a new Broadway production. She must now decide if she wants to continue in her profession and contemplate the effects it will have on the other aspects of her life. LENA'S DREAMS bristles with the cold truths of the performer's life and is charged by an emotional breakthrough performance by Marlene Forti.
