Synopsis
Alec MacKenna, a down-on-his-luck horse trainer, takes a promising but untrained horse called Legends Lake to a stud farm in Ireland in order to whip the horse into shape, as it were. He's accompanied by his stepchild, Zoe, the troubled teenage daughter of his dead ex-wife. Alec falls for the owner of the farm, earth-motherish Kate O'Sullivan, but, because of Ireland's divorce laws, Kate is still married to her estranged, abusive husband. What to do?
