Synopsis This third installment in Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill's era-spanning, referential graphic novel series is formatted into three distinct sections. The first one takes place in 1910, the second in 1968, and the third in 2008. London is vastly different on each visit, and the adventures the crew of anti-heroes face evolve with the passing of time. Moore and O'Neill retain many of the characters from previous stories, but ramp this up with new faces pilfered from literature's stockpile.

Industry Reviews "Century is a dense and lyrical story, with weirdness and whimsicality." (03/03/2009)
"Moore's writing sparkles as he weaves Brechtian lyrics into a sharp, tightly paced story, and O'Neill's sardonic stylized art captures the spirit of the tale and the era perfectly. It's a romp for comics and literature fans alike." (05/25/2009)
"Such a medley risks becoming absurd, but Moore's control of his material ensures that the narrative never seems in danger of toppling into whimsy." (07/31/2009)
