Synopsis The daughter of an odd match between a wealthy debutante and her family's handyman, Joce Minton was born sucking on the proverbial silver spoon. But after her mother died, and her father remarried a woman of his own class, Joce's affluent relatives disowned her and her spoon became an iron wrench. She winds up being raised by an eccentric neighbor named Miss Edi, who eventually leaves Joce in the lurch again by dying. But Edi leaves a perplexing letter for Joce, directing her to a historic estate in Edilean, Virginia. In Edilean, she will uncover the mysteries of her family's past, and possibly the love that will define her future.
