Movie Description
A fan dancer hires a bag lady to portray her mother on mother's day. An enjoyable follow-up to "Lady For a Day."

Credits
Cast:Carole Lombard
Director:David Burton
Producer:Robert North

Synopsis
Lovable misfit Patsy Patterson spends her life bouncing between jails and gin mills.

Her carefree days come to a halt when the riotous senior citizen makes an offensive noise during a singing waiter's big number. This outburst puts Patsy before the kind but stern Judge Daly, who promptly sends her to a female retirement community.

But attention-hungry fan dancer Alabam Lee intervenes and chooses to "adopt" the hell-raising Patsy for Mother's Day as part of her publicist's PR stunt. For once, Patsy takes her newfound motherly role soberly and notices that Alabam's managers are withholding the dough she's actually due.

Cons, romantic misunderstandings, and comic confusion steer the female duo on a wild course toward friendship.

Film Notes
Additional cast: Mariska Aldrich (Lucretia); John T. Doyle (Walsh); Abe Denovitch (Louie); Fred "Snowflake" Toones (Mose); and William Faversham (Booth).
