Movie Description
John Derek portrays Nick Romano, a product of the slums who turns to crime. His case is pleaded by attorney Bogart who had known the criminal since childhood.
Synopsis
A kid from the wrong side of the tracks doesn't look like he has a chance when he's arrested for murdering a cop. But he manages to win the sympathies of a tough lawyer who experienced similar deprivations as a boy. As the attorney tries to prove his client's innocence in court, he exposes the harsh, societal conditions that drove to youth into a life of crime.
