Movie Description
When circus-promoter Caruso buys 10-year-old Barbu from his poor Ukrainian parents, he promises them that Barbu will have a fabulous new life traveling Western Europe as a circus performer. However, when Barbu arrives in Berlin, he discovers that Caruso is actually the leader of a pack of child street thieves. Barbu decides to become a criminal leader himself, but when he discovers that his sister has been sold into a brothel he dedicates himself to rescuing her.
