This delightful British comedy series presents a look into the life of Hyacinth Bucket (Patricia Routledge)--who insists on "Bucket" being pronounced "Bouquet"--and the problems she encounters with her family. Desperate to climb the social ladder, Hyacinth will stop at nothing to shed her working-class background in an attempt to enter the world of the fabulously wealthy. Comedic results abound, with excellent performances throughout. This collection presents all five seasons of the enormously popular show, as well as Christmas specials from 1991, 1993, 1994, and 1995.
