Seller's Comments: Previously Viewed Video Store Rental Stock Liquidation
Full Description:
When we closed our video store in 2007, we removed all rental stock movies from their protective vinyl rental cases and reinserted them into their original packages, which had been used for display. In most cases, the display boxes had been shrink-wrapped to preserve their quality. Some of the very old boxes may be faded due to the store fluorescent lights. It had been our store policy to immediately discard and replace any VHS or DVD movies which, upon customer complaint, we verified to be unwatchable. So, aside from any possible misses, all of our movies are viewable. We would run each VHS movie through a
cleaner upon return. Moreover, we examined each and every DVD for deleterious scratches upon return and before renting. All movies still bear the original Video 183 store labels on the media and the boxes have rental card pouches on the exterior of their cases, which we found useful for playing trivia games with the many movies we retained for personal usage. From when we purchased the store in 2004, it had been our policy to prefer to buy "Directors Cut" versions, with added content that usually meant better story continuity. So, many of these movies are actually rated as "NR" as they were not re-submitted for rating.
