Movie Description
In Sidney Lumet's JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT, a middle-aged man parts with his younger lover. She wants to marry a man her own age and he won't keep her from following her heart. But as soon as he lets her go, he decides he'll do whatever it takes to get her back.

Synopsis
Sidney Lumet directed this cutting upper-class comedy in which Ali MacGraw plays Bones Buton, a television producer who wants desperately to end the longtime affair she's been having with her boss, Max Herschel (Alan King). She wants to marry a young writer. When her boss hears this intention he does his best to win her heart again. Jay Presson Allen based the screenplay on her best-selling novel.
