Movie Description

Synopsis
Sidney Lumet directed this cutting upper-class comedy in which Ali MacGraw plays Bones Buton, a television producer who wants desperately to end the longtime affair she's been having with her boss, Max Herschel (Alan King). She wants to marry a young writer. When her boss hears this intention he does his best to win her heart again. Jay Presson Allen based the screenplay on her best-selling novel.
