The third release from West Coast rapper Suga Free offers up more of the artist's smooth, stately G-funk. Lyrically Suga Free sticks to the basic hardcore themes: pimping, playing, living large, and making money, but on occasion (as on "Peace of Mind") his rhymes take a more personal and emotional turn. The beats are expansive and rolling, and provide the perfect counterpart to Suga Free's gangsta-mac persona (which is augmented by the occasional spot of singing). The disc comes with a bonus DVD featuring live footage and interviews.
