Synopsis
Small for his age but artistically talented, twelve-year-old Jeremy Thatcher unknowingly buys a dragon's egg., When 12-year-old Jeremy Thatcher visits a magic shop he buys what he thinks is a marble but in reality is a dragon's egg. When Jeremy successfully hatches a dragon, who he names Tiamat, he discovers that only he, and his nemesis Mary Lou, can see the creature. Sepia-toned illustrations accompany the text.
