Industry Reviews Gr 2-4 An introduction to the many kinds of mice, their habitats, and their characteristics. Clear, full-color photographs greatly enhance the text. Souza does a good job of defining terms such as hibernate, habitat, and incisors and offers a guide to their pronunciation. The environmental importance of these rodents and their place in the food chain are noted. A chart lists the family name, common name, habitat, favorite foods, and average litter size for a few of the different families. A useful book for reports.
