Movie Description Following her latest stage triumph, a Broadway star decides to vacation in Hawaii before tackling her new role. While away, her daughter, who is also an actress, is offered the prize part in a new play; however, it is the same part her mother is planning to do in the coming season.
Synopsis Pamela Drake wants to break into show business, just like her mother Georgia. After Pamela succeeds in winning a juicy role in a play, she travels to Hawaii to get pointers from her mom. However, the aspiring actress doesn't realize that her part had been promised to Georgia. When the truth comes to light, each woman wages a desperate campaign to hold on to the role. Further complications and competition develop when Pamela becomes attracted to John Arlen -- an older man who falls for Georgia...
