"The Christmas Song (Chestnuts)" is presented as a ska romp, "O, Christmas Tree" as a samba, and "Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah" as--of course--a hora, making for loving and respectful versions that are believable at every turn. Instrumentally, the quartet is so talented that its individual players can lie back without ever needing to show off. Of particular note is the rhythm section, made up of drummer Mitch Marine and bass player Bubba Hernandez.
