Movie Description In this "Prince and the Pauper"-inspired tale, two girls who are the spitting image of each other decide to switch places to bring their lonely parents together before adoption separates them forever.
Synopsis Tomboy Amanda resides in a Manhattan orphanage, where she receives lots of attention from social worker Diane Barrows, whom she adores. Alyssa is the cultured daughter of rich widower Roger Calloway, and a dead ringer for Amanda. The two girls meet when Amanda attends a camp near Alyssa's home, and they like each other so much that they hatch a plan: to match Diane with Roger, so they can all live together happily ever after. But there's a fly in the ointment -- Roger's witchy, golddigging, child-hating fiancee Clarice.
