Synopsis As they get older, several sisters decide that they must kidnap children and bring them to their secluded island home to help with the work of caring for an assortment of unusual sea creatures., Aunt Etta, Aunt Coral, and Aunt Myrtle live on a magical island where they spend their days caring for such creatures as mermaids, ghosts, and a talking worm. As they grow older, the aunts find that taking care of these creatures is just too much for them to handle by themselves and so they decide to kidnap three children to help them with the island's upkeep. Two of the children are happy to come and live with the "aunts" but the third, the bratty Lambert Sprott, nearly causes the island's destruction.
