On his sophomore solo release, Bun B again proves why he's among the tightest lyricists in the Dirty South top. After making a number of rest-in-peace shouts to fallen partner Pimp C, Bun reserves the heartfelt track "Angel in the Sky" for a proper, articulated homage. II TRILL also features memorable collaborations with Lil Wayne on the slick, funk cut "Damn I'm Cold" and Junior Reid on "If It Was Up to Me." Swishahouse icon DJ O.G. Ron C handles the mix here-chopping and screwing each track in true H-Town fashion.
