Album Notes Lil Dap made his wax debut in 1992 alongside Jeru the Damaja on Gang Starr's monumental posse cut, "I'm the Man." As one half of the Group Home, the Brooklyn lyricist perfected his signature flow--made up of straightforward rhymes and a stuttering delivery--under the tutelage of DJ Premier on the classic 1995 album, LIVIN' PROOF. After nearly a decade on the low, Lil Dap returns with 16 gutter, B.K-centric tracks on his solo debut, I.A. DAP. Featuring production by Large Professor, DJ Skizz, the Alchemist, and Dap himself, as well as appearances from Guru, Big Noyd, Twin of Infamous Mobb, and Melachi the Nutcracker, I.A. DAP harks back to New York hip-hop's golden era.
