Movie Description A modern version of "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" sees Huck going on a cross-country adventure substituting America's highways for the mighty Mississippi.
Synopsis Mark Twain's classic tale of two outsiders is updated for the nineties. Originally, the story concerned a poor orphan and a runaway slave trying to escape the cruel race and class systems of the antebellum South.
In this modern version, Huck is a lonely boy searching for his grandfather. During his journey, he hooks up with Jim, a gambler and a drifter. Together, they travel west looking for freedom and a place to belong.
