Movie Description
When a Soviet nuclear submarine collides with an American sub off the coast of Bermuda, the captains of both vessels (Rutger Hauer as the Russian skipper, Martin Sheen as his American counterpart) are forced to work together to thwart a meltdown. Based on an actual event that occurred in 1986, with extensive research culled from the ships' logs and eyewitness accounts, HOSTILE WATERS is a chilling evocation of the fear-soaked atmosphere of the Cold War era.
