Movie Description
Angel is a young inner-city man living a life of crime that consistently drags him back into the fray. When he decides to leave his criminal existence behind in order to save his relationship with the woman he loves, Angel almost manages to turn his life around; with no education or legitimate work experience, however, he soon realizes that his options are limited. Forced back into the underworld, he becomes witness to a realm of greater corruption and violence than he ever encountered before as he becomes involved with one of the largest operations of home invaders around. The group's manipulative and dangerous leader (Keith David) has settled on Angel to help the crew navigate their notorious raids of Angel's New Jersey neighborhood, and he won't take no for an answer. Angel proves adept at this endeavor, and the crew becomes notorious for their seemingly spectral ability to slip under the radar in their invasions, until one undertaking goes radically awry.
HOME INVADERS was a hit at the 2002 New York Latin Film Festival and was rated #1 at the Urban World Film Festival. With Spike Lee at the helm as executive producer, the excellent cast includes Luis Guzman (TRAFFIC, PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE), Yancey Arias (TV's KINGPIN), and Keith David (CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK).
