With full orchestral accompaniment, the Irish Tenors (otherwise known as Paddy crooners Ronan Fynan, Anthony Kearns, and John McDermott) beat that other well known trio at their own game by adding a yuletide spin to things. Included on HOME FOR CHRISTMAS are some of the most well known traditional Christmas tunes, such as "Joy to the World" and "The First Noel." You may have heard these songs a million times before, but it's safe to say you've never heard them quite this way. These holiday chestnuts (no pun intended) benefit here from the collective vocal might of the three tenors in question, whose pure, lilting voices add both an airiness and a heartfelt spirituality to this already spiritually oriented fare.
