Album Notes It's perhaps a bit churlish to point out that this budget-priced compilation and its sister volume would fit on one CD with room to spare, because both volumes cost less than the list price of the average single CD. As is usual with inexpensive compilations, the packaging is less than inspired, but you simply can't argue with the contents. "Walk On By," "Anyone Who Had a Heart," "I'll Never Fall in Love Again," and "There's Always Something There to Remind Me" are all bona fide Bacharach and David classics. If you have the slightest interest in sophisticated, smart pop music, you really need to know Dionne Warwick's '60s singles, and HER CLASSIC SONGS is a fine starting point.
