Movie Description
A small video rental store in St. Louis is the scene of some unimaginable drama in this feature film. HEART OF THE BEHOLDER is based on the true story of the Howard family, who ran the store and incurred the wrath of a local group called Citizens for Decency (CFD). The group objected to the nature of films such as TAXI DRIVER and THE LAST TEMPTATION OF CHRIST, and took the Howards to court. But the court case, and subsequent revelations about CFD, provide a surprising, and unexpected, end to the tale.
