Synopsis Lonely after moving to a new town, a boy named Pete finds comfort through helping a woman who runs a rehabilitation center for injured birds of prey. Pete forms a special bond with a hawk he names Maloney, although he knows that he shouldn't because, when they are healed, all the birds are returned to the wild.
