Movie Description
OUT IN FIFTY: Although packaged as an action-thriller, this is really a very peculiar psychodrama with whacked-out West Coast characters and ambiance. Good-hearted Mississippi boy Ray Frye (Leet) accidentally killed a perverted LA woman during sex (!). Now her

vengeful husband, an addict cop no less (and Rourke to boot), is waiting to strike when Frye gets out of prison. But Ray goes out of the Frye pen and into the fire when, on parole, he boards with the scheming little family of a chintzy car-wash

entrepeneur. There's also a poison-dart serial killer on the loose who may or may not be relevant. Two principle actors share writing and directing credit in this eccentric exercise in style and thespian attitudes, that quaintly cloaks its sexy leading

ladies in bikinis even during shower scenes. For a more straightforward tale of post-prison revenge, check out Jack Nicholson in THE CROSSING GUARD.

GIRL NEXT DOOR: A highly charged erotic thriller in which Czerny agrees to look after his neighbors' sexy eighteen-year-old-daughter (Shannon) while they go away. After she is found dead, the local sheriff (Busey) takes the case and uncovers shocking evidence that exposes the real truth.

A GUN, A CAR, A BLONDE: A disenchanted man retreats into an elaborate fantasy world--based on the "mean streets" of the hard-boiled film noir milieu--in which he is a gutter-dwelling gumshoe out to find and protect a beautiful blonde woman. Only when his real and imaginary worlds meet is he able to find an ending to the story.

PICK-UP SUMMER: A spicy comedy about the wacky exploits of two high school boys. When they're not at the video game arcade or the drive-in, they're usually chasing after two "fun- loving" sisters.
