Movie Description Jonah, now an elderly man, recounts his tale of how God awakened him one night and told him to go to Ninevah to preach. When Jonah disobeys God and travels to Tarshish, God draws up a great storm which sweeps Jonah off his ship and into the mouth of a great fish. Only Jonah's repentance and prayer can save him.
Synopsis This animated tale brings to life the Biblical story of Jonah. Jonah is ordered by God to visit the sinning citizens of Ninevah to preach repentance. But the reluctant Jonah disobeys The Lord and is punished by being swallowed up by a whale.
After living in the fish's belly for 3 days, Jonah himself repents and is saved. Jonah then goes to Ninevah and delivers a sermon, now knowing the value of repentance from personal experience.
