Album Notes
The title here is self-explanatory, if a somewhat far-fetched marketing device. It's doubtful whether anything more than a corporate interest in the bottom line inspired the famous 1983 Motown TV special, where a be-gloved Michael Jackson moonwalked his way to international superstardom.
In any case, what we have here is a basically well chosen, though brief, greatest hits collection, cherry-picked from the Supremes' much larger catalog. The music is of course classic, and the inclusion of the relatively obscure "I'll Try Something New" (with the Temptations) is a bonus.
